Weekend Verdict provides a no-hype video game buying guide designed specifically for busy adult players. The Weekend Verdict name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Weekend Verdict or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on the Service are the trademarks of their respective owners.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include any right to resell or commercial use of the Service or its contents, any collection and use of product listings or descriptions, any derivative use of the Service or its contents, or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
6. User Content
Weekend Verdict may allow you to post, submit, publish, or display content, including comments, reviews, ratings, and other materials (collectively, "User Content"). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights that you hold in your User Content. However, by posting User Content on weekendverdict.com, you grant Weekend Verdict a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform your User Content in connection with the Service.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to post your User Content and that your User Content does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, intellectual property rights, or any other rights of any person or entity.
You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing it. Weekend Verdict does not endorse any User Content or any opinion, recommendation, or advice expressed therein. We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to remove or disable access to any User Content for any reason or no reason, including User Content that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WEEKEND VERDICT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Weekend Verdict does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. Weekend Verdict does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the Service in terms of its correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise.
The game reviews, recommendations, and buying guides provided on weekendverdict.com represent the opinions and experiences of our reviewers and contributors. Individual gaming experiences may vary. Weekend Verdict makes no guarantees regarding your enjoyment of any game reviewed or recommended on the Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WEEKEND VERDICT, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service
- Any content obtained from the Service
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content
IN NO EVENT SHALL WEEKEND VERDICT'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID WEEKEND VERDICT IN THE LAST SIX (6) MONTHS, OR, IF GREATER, ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, some of the limitations above may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Weekend Verdict, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service, including but not limited to your User Content, any use of the Service's content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms, or your use of any information obtained from the Service.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion features available on weekendverdict.com. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including without limitation ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Weekend Verdict is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in the applicable jurisdiction, and the parties hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
You and Weekend Verdict agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than in arbitration, both you and Weekend Verdict waive any right to a jury trial.
12. Changes to Terms
Weekend Verdict reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use the Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service and should discontinue your use immediately.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.
14. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by Weekend Verdict on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Weekend Verdict concerning the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings and agreements, whether written or oral, regarding the Service.
